Article 17 Where the plaintiff claims to declare a marriage invalid on a ground other than those specified in Article 1051 of the Civil Code, the people's court shall make a decree dismissing the plaintiff's claim.
Where the plaintiff claims to cancel the registration of a marriage on the ground that the registration procedure of the marriage was flawed, the people's court shall inform the plaintiff to file a lawsuit for administrative reconsideration or file an administrative lawsuit according to law.
