Article 8 Where a man or woman, who had been living together as husband and wife without registering their marriage in accordance with Article 1049 of the Civil Code, dies, and the other makes a claim, as the spouse of the deceased, to inherit from the deceased, the case shall be handled pursuant to the principles stipulated in Article 7 of these Interpretations.
